Life is so silly sometimes! For example, you’re in a car at a stop light and the light turns green. You have to make the decision to go or not. That is totally lame, haha! Why do we have to make so many decisions?! If you think about it, that’s all we ever do… is decide.
Right now I am at the age of 14. I am having the hardest time of my life right now! I am choosing which high school would appeal to me the most, but obviously that choice has been made for me. Considering that I didn’t get accepted into my dream school of, Booker T. Washington High School; School of the Arts. I had a plan planned all out for myself if I had gotten into the school.
Do my best at the in all of the classes, including dance classes
Take as many dance classes outside of school
Attend as many dance intensives during the summer
Get notice by all dance teachers, and maybe a few dance companies
Then I would graduate successfully
After I would head to Julliard
After that I would head to the stage(Broadway hopefully)
As you can see I had it planned out pretty good so far, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about how my life would be if I had gotten accepted.
Now my mind is set on other things. Like, what I really love. I LOVE dance, but I also LOVE volleyball, photography, and fashion! I am so difficult, but I always have and always will. So, here is my new plan. I have been wanting to attend Texas Tech since I was about ten years old. I would like to major in their Apparel Design and Manufacturing program thing-ma-jig. I had to think about what I have loved since I was little and what I still love now. Fashion has ALWAYS fascinated me, and so has dance. Now I come to think that maybe dance was just a hobby for me. I am not sure of that because I love it, but really I have more potential through fashion.
Hopefully photography ties into fashion because I sure as heck love capturing special moments!
Anywho, back to college. Because I am so passionate about volleyball I am hoping that I can get a volleyball scholarship. That would help so much!
I have always been planning where I want to go to college and what I want to do with my life ever since I can remember. As I get older it gets more realistic instead of dreaming about it, or agreeing with someone of where or what you want do in your life and go to college. Man, this is crazy!
